Welcome to The Lodge! We're Julien and Siobhan . From running kite schools and camps in Ireland, Morocco and Vietnam to seasons in Brazil, Greece, Panama and more, our journey has always followed the same rhythm: good wind, great people, and places that became part of our story. With a shared love of hospitality and Julien's 20+ years of kiting experience, we have spent over a decade building our own businesses, welcoming thousands of guests, hosting events, and sharing our experience and passion with others.
Every stop taught us something. And The Lodge is where we've woven all those lessons together. Set beside the calm waters of the lagoon, it brings together everything we care about — real progression, thoughtful hosting, relaxed social spaces, and genuine connections. It's not just where we work — it's the place we always wanted to create.

Julien
Owner & Co-Founder
Originally from Normandy, Julien has spent 20+ years in the world of kitesurfing — managing camps across Ireland, Morocco, Greece, and South America before cofounding The Lodge in Portugal.

Originally from Ireland, Siobhan brings years of experience in tourism and hospitality. In 2015 she co-founded Source Kiteboarding in Vietnam before creating The Lodge’s welcoming atmosphere.
