Our journey with kiting started over twenty years ago on the wild Atlantic coast of Ireland, where Julien flew his first kite. From those early days rigging gear on windswept beaches, the passion for the sport — and the gear — never stopped growing.

When Julien and Siobhan moved to Vietnam in 2015, they took this experience with them — building one of the country's biggest kite and wing foil schools, selling gear to riders across Southeast Asia, and running a full North & Mystic retail shop on the beach. For years, it has been the go-to destination in Vietnam for anyone serious about the sport. The brand partnership with North grew naturally — built on trust, shared passion, and a belief in quality gear.

Now at The Lodge in Portugal, that same partnership continues. We know every kite, every wing, every foil in the range — because we've been riding, teaching, and selling North since day one.
