Founders
Julien
Owner & Co-FounderOriginally from Normandy and later based in Ireland, Julien has spent 20+ years in the world of kitesurfing, managing camps across Ireland, Morocco, Greece, and South America.
In 2015 he cofounded Source Kiteboarding in Vietnam. Today, his focus is on creating places where people can enjoy the wind, the ocean, and the company of others — because the best days on the water always end with stories and a beer together. You’ll find Ju deep in the organisation of things and developing the business on all fronts.
Siobhan
Owner & Co-FounderSiobhan, originally from Ireland, comes from a background in tourism and hospitality and has spent years creating welcoming spaces for travellers.
In 2015 she co-founded Source Kiteboarding in Vietnam, helping build a place where riders from around the world could connect through wind, travel, and shared experiences. At the lodge, she brings warmth, organisation, and an eye for detail to guest experience and community life.

Activity ManagerA Polish watersports enthusiast who has spent the last decade following wind and waves across the globe, coaching in top locations from Brazil to the Caribbean.
With over 10 years of coaching experience throughout Europe, the Caribbean, and many places in between, the ocean has always felt like home. Kitesurfing is where my heart truly lies — for me, every ride is about freedom, connection, and being fully present in the moment.
Marius
Head InstructorWorking as a kitesurf instructor for over six years, Marius has taught hundreds of students across some of the best spots in Europe and beyond.
He's IKO Level 2 certified and brings a calm, structured teaching style that makes even the first sessions feel natural and fun.
Whether it's flat-water cruising or your first upwind ride, Marius is all about helping you progress at your own pace -- with a good dose of stoke on the side.
Sam
Head InstructorA kite and wingfoil instructor joining us from Vietnam as our head instructor, Sam brings years of experience from some of Asia’s best wind spots.
With a global perspective and laid-back energy, Sam makes every session on the lagoon feel like an adventure — whether you're a first-timer or looking to level up your skills.
Kayo
InstructorExtreme sports have been the bigger part of my life for over 15 years — from snowboarding and skiing to rock climbing, windsurfing, and kitesurfing.
For the past 10 years I've been working professionally as an instructor. I'm an IKO Level 2 certified kitesurf instructor and enjoy helping people discover the sport and progress on the water.
Leo Gomez
InstructorA 28-year-old professional kitesurfer from Sal, Cape Verde. Leo has been riding since the age of 12, growing up on some of the world's best kite beaches.
He started competing in national events at 16 and quickly made a name for himself in the freestyle and big air scenes. Over the years, Leo has traveled across Europe, South America, and Southeast Asia -- always chasing wind and sharing the stoke with fellow riders.
Now based in Portugal, he brings his island energy, smooth style, and deep water knowledge to every session. Whether you're just getting started or looking to push your limits, Leo is the kind of instructor who makes it all feel effortless.
